HuntNQ Cape York
Guided Hunting Tours – Accommodation Provided by Third Party • These terms apply to guests attending a HuntNQ guided hunting tour. • HuntNQ acts solely as the hunting guide and tour provider. • Accommodation is provided by a separate business and is not owned, operated, or managed by HuntNQ unless expressly stated in writing. • Meals and catering form part of the HuntNQ hunting package and are charged directly by HuntNQ. • HuntNQ is responsible for the provision of meals included in the package but is not responsible for accommodation facilities, standards, services, or accommodation-related disputes. • All accommodation-specific matters, including facilities, room allocations, and accommodation conduct, remain the responsibility of the accommodation provider. • Arrival times, departure times, and meeting locations for hunting activities will be advised by HuntNQ prior to the tour and must be strictly adhered to. • Failure to attend the hunting tour at the agreed time or location will be treated as a no-show with no refund of deposit or payments.
Booking & Payment • Full payment is required prior to arrival or on arrival at HuntNQ Cape York. • Rates are per night or per package and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. • Prices are subject to change without prior notice; confirmed bookings will not be affected.
Guest Responsibilities • Guests must respect HuntNQ Cape York rules, staff, guides, and other visitors. • Pets are only allowed in designated areas and must be kept on a leash at all times. • Guests must clean up after themselves and dispose of waste responsibly. • No unauthorised visitors are permitted without prior approval.
Conduct & Damage • Guests must not engage in disruptive behaviour, excessive noise, or illegal activities. • Any damage caused to property, accommodation, vehicles, equipment, or facilities must be reported immediately and may be charged to the guest. • HuntNQ Cape York reserves the right to evict guests who breach these terms without a refund.
Liability & Indemnity • Guests acknowledge that staying on a remote, working property involves inherent risks, including but not limited to animals, firearms, uneven terrain, vehicles, and extreme weather conditions. • HuntNQ Cape York is not liable for loss, damage, injury, or death occurring on the property unless due to proven negligence. • Guests assume full responsibility for their own safety and the safety of children under their care.
Legal Compliance • All hunting activities must comply with Queensland and Australian laws and regulations. • Guests are responsible for holding any required licences, permits, and approvals. • Illegal hunting practices are strictly prohibited.
Firearms & Weapons • Firearms must be transported, stored, and handled in accordance with Queensland firearms legislation. • Firearms are only to be discharged in approved hunting areas under the direction of HuntNQ guides or management. • Alcohol or drugs must not be consumed before or during hunting activities.
Safety & Conduct While Hunting • All hunters must attend and comply with safety briefings provided by HuntNQ. • Guests must follow all instructions from guides at all times. • Unsafe behaviour will result in immediate removal from hunting activities without refund.
Game & Ethical Hunting • Only approved species may be hunted. • Ethical hunting practices must be followed at all times. • Wounded game must be reported immediately and reasonable efforts made to recover it.
Assumption of Risk • Guests acknowledge that hunting involves significant inherent risks, including serious injury or death. • By participating in hunting activities, guests accept full responsibility for these risks and waive any claims against HuntNQ Cape York except where negligence is proven.
Assumption of Risk • By entering, swimming in, or using any natural water sources on or around the property, guests acknowledge they do so entirely at their own risk. • Waterways may be inhabited by crocodiles, snakes, and other dangerous wildlife.
No Lifeguards or Safety Guarantees • There are no lifeguards, designated swimming areas, or safety supervision provided. • HuntNQ and the accommodation provider make no guarantees regarding water safety or protection from wildlife.
Personal Responsibility • Guests are solely responsible for assessing risks before entering any body of water.
No Liability • HuntNQ, the accommodation provider, property owners, employees, contractors, and guides will not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, or death resulting from swimming or water-related activities.
Parental Supervision • Children must be supervised at all times near water. • Parents or guardians accept full responsibility for minors in their care.
Compliance with Warnings • Guests must comply with all signage, verbal warnings, and instructions relating to water safety.
Acknowledgement of Terms • By attending a HuntNQ tour or staying at the associated accommodation, guests acknowledge they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
